Pretty In Paint

Hi there, I've been browsing about and look what I've uncovered! This new hobby of mine is exhaustive, there's endless of sources but I look for the one that really captures not only my eyes but the soul too.

I've seen plenty of amazing photos but I guess I had to make up my mind which or else I'd end up with 500 posts within a day, and gosh how you'd read all that? Or more likely, where am I going to find the time to blog about them in the first place?

All these pictures are portrait. Acrylic paintings. By Joshua Petker. Coincidentally he looks up to Gustav Klimt and I happen to like Gustav's works before stumbling across this piece of wonderful work. This is fated. Cool.

Bloody Mary.

My favourite portrait amongst the rest, somehow I have a fetish for bloody paintings. I gave a painting to a man I liked before, it was something almost similiar as this except that mine was just drips of blood all over the shrouding gray strips. The theme was 'Forgive but not Forget' it was quite personal and I didn't know what was I thinking when I handed it to him.

Gold Glitter.

The girl on the left looks pretty, I like her hair. I wish to make my hair something like that, but it stubbornly refuse to. Bother much, I'm beginning to get bored of my side parting simply because I see so many people out there with the same thing on their forehead. It annoys me but still, how I wish I had better ways to do my hair.

Cats Are Always Black.

Well yes the are. At least in this portrait, and I like how she touches her lips with the tip of her fingers and the other hand petting the cat. So seductively agonizing, she's beautiful but yet it's painful. Both of them, they twist.

Alice Axes.

This is cute. Very cute. Her bee stung lips, lush thick eyelashes and the colourful neon eye makeup; she's completely oblivious to everything. I like. I like. I like.

And so to brighten your day, or the complete opposite, just drop by this genius guy journal, his name is Johnny Ryan. Familiar much? I wasn't neither, I found his works alongside Joshua Petker and all, it's a weird mix, I know. The world is flat people. Move it.

These arty people sure do feign a great deal of interest from me. Though some may come off as brash and provoking but it's mentally stimulating. Hmm. Won't you like it? I like it.

This blog is going to be plastered with the 'like' word all over it. The word 'like' is like an oracle to this blog. It speaks. It tells. It decides. So many things to like, I wonder how do I manage? Or rather I'm expanding more space in my heart for unliving things, leaving little space for the lost souls dwelling around me.

Gosh, it's not wonder why it's empty. It's filled with all the things I 'like'.

Do You Hate The Colour Pink?

Hey you. Yes, you. I'm talking to you.

To any particular of you getting upset seeing a pink blog that somehow it is deeply rooted in your mind because it ultimately belongs to ditzy girl who only loves pretty stuffs and rant about the littlest things on earth. Though that might be stereotyping but then again who doesn't? I know you do, stop denying.

I could carry on very well with a white plain blog and I won't have people patronizing me how much of a tissue paper enthusiast I am, because it's so painstakingly white. White as snow. White as my tissue paper. Since I've been doing my bit as a solicitous citizen on planet Earth, I've replaced my tissue papers with napkins and handkerchief instead so there now to prove my point is completely obsolete. Yada.

I have a pink blog and people would relate me to XiaXue, or trying to be like her. She likes everything in pink. Well that's her not me. Or probably you guys would stamp me under Paris Hilton's range, gosh if I really want to do a Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie combo, you'll be shocked. You will be shocked my dear, if I had wanted to do it in the first place.

I've seen plenty of pink blogs surfacing around the blogosphere, and so many  more of them but still, I'm not moved to not like a pink blog. They're wonderful. Most of the blogs looked nice, forget the content though because that's a different story altogether isn't it? We'll save it for another day whenever you feel like bringing it up.

Why can't we all enjoy and relax without throwing pre judgmental of someone's value when you're getting to know them. You're reading my blog right now so you are somehow in the process of getting to know me. If it's makes you feel better in my country's local phrase, chill lah.

Of course, I chose to put myself in this kind of light the way you will see me, but the real question is; which angle are you looking from?

I find that pink is strong colour, especially to women and that in a way I'm channeling my posts mainly to the female readers leaving the males feeling left out. Perhaps not, if them having to see beautiful pictures of gorgeous women with jaw dropping fashion garments ignoring what was written under caption.

It doesn't matter anyway to which gender I'm feigning interest from, its just the love. The mutual feeling of liking things in common, or the complete opposite could be refreshing too.

Yes, I'd like that.

Somewhere, somehow I've kept a mundane grey blog out there. It's just as anonymous as this one. Whoops! I've said too much didn't I?

Too bad this blog isn't going to be too personal for your own liking, rather it's an interest I've developed browsing through people's website after dousing myself in a pool of envy of their pictures. This blog is dedicated to the lighter, materialistic side of me, for the unliving things that I lust, love, adore, want, and care.

A lot like humans except that they can't feel.

I'm sure if I bought a Gucci dress right now that's fetching up to 800 Euros, do you think that Gucci dress would give a flying faggo...I'm sorry, cursing is going to be moderated here in this blog too, simply because the other one is, well, you know. Thing is, I wouldn't get that money out of thin air would I?

Plus, it eases my mind typing in this blog where I can pretend to be a saintly angel while the other one just does it. Thank god for anonymity.

Now, back to business.

Where in the world can I go to class looking as fabulous like this?

I wished my classes were held in stone made castles dating back from the 17th century. That'll be classic. Enriching too.

This potentially charming young lad would be the guy from the other class. Or my boyfriend.

My fantasies are running wild. It's a sign. I'm still straight after staring at super model photos all day long. Well I didn't need that telling me don't I? I'm just silly.

Right then pretty face, I'm going.

Make Up Magic

I knew these guys at Vogue were wizards! These were from Vogue Paris Edition in November 2008. Just look at these pictures below. Wonders what make up and talented photographers can do. Yes it is the same woman on every picture.

I think the woman they portrayed here, to me, she is beautiful in every way. Even in those stages, they focus a job well done on poise and glamour. I like.

My favourite is the 40's, she seems a finely matured woman with the eyes of powerful temptress. Ooh! I just love this.

I like the good girl turn bad kind of attitude, then she sets things straight once again yet never changing her personality; she's sitting a wise lady on the top, the one who knows it all. And still ever graceful.

Closing Up

Has anyone here ever been to British India's Store in One Utama?

If there's any yes-es out there, isn't it magnificent? I mean those beautiful wooden cupboards and such, I felt like I was in a different world altogether. Perhaps there's a magical cupboard hidden somewhere in the store that will lead us to Narnia. Gosh, that's it. I should really visit that place again.

Taken from here.

The name itself Gucci is synonymous with style, though some of their bright ideas aren't that appealing at times but I reckon it has been setting trends ever since. I like Gucci.

But not as much as Chanel and Versace.

And Bvlgari too.

Yada. Bye.

The Metrosexual He

Karl Lagerfeld.

Enigmatic. His aura eluded magnetism of the higher echelon men.  A different kind of men.

You don't hear men talking much about him. It's because they have nothing to say. Nothing at all. Except for those who understand his works.

He makes all the men in the world speechless about himself. Why? It's because he's gay alright I'm not pretty sure about that, I've looked around and chances are I'm going for the 'yes, he's gay' answer, plus he gets to accompanied by a platoon of goddesses who are his models.

Because he's gay? No, I don't think so. I think it's because he looks like a fine gentlemen. He understands women so well that I have always find him appealing, never boring. There's always something new to look forward from this man.

Here are several pictures from his website.

Taking a stroll in the beach looking this isn't exactly conventional, perhaps he wanted to show a contrast to the contrary culture where everyone wears lesser on the beach.

That tall dark haired chiseled chin Eros has an ear piercing. His manly appearance contradicts his sexuality where piercing is actually an expression for gay movement. Men pierce themselves on any part of their anatomy, where women instead pierce their tongues.

I personally liked this one. I think I have the odd fantasy to be an Airship Captain with all that leather gloves and tight wool pants paired up with the knee length boot. Her flaming red hair says it all. Power.

My would be subordinate in my fantasies. I doubt that because he looked liked the Captain instead.

If I were a kid, I would really like this. I will love it to my hearts content. There is nothing more than a piece of heaven to be in a garden all to myself. I can throw stones into the ponds, pluck countless of flowers and leaves, then perhaps climb tiny monuments like this model did here in the picture.

Dark but sexy. Classic goth.

Moving onto something contemporary. This is quite generic because plenty of other people perfected at imitating this look.

This consist of three pictures individually but I compiled them and yes, I find it...interesting.

You know something? That dark haired Eros is scaring me.

Looks like Karl Lagerfeld got his skirts plumped too. She's a pure doll, nice.

Spent the day stalking onto his brief history, I like what I've read about him so far. Perhaps I'm just easy to please, maybe I don't know. I'm going right now. See you.

That Little Piece of Beauty

Another picture from hers, try to look into the door.

I have the strong urge to jump into my computer screen and run up the stairs to open the door at the other end. I love uncovering mysterious things and this one seems just right.

I want to buy this house.

I will renovate it to be a country cottage. Pastel coloured wooden furnitures, flower printed curtains and sheets, landscape paintings, once this house is done up well I'd rent them to the lovely folks looking for a summer house in the holidays.

I want several summer houses in the European continent. My step aunt has one in France and I almost faint in envy when she tells me about it. Yes, picking berries in the vineyard is fun. Making blueberries jam after that seemed fun as well. I liked that life, being in the country. A getaway from the fast paced, hustle and bustle of the cruel city.

I'd trade my clubbing nights away for a lazy sunny day there, just sipping wine and paint landscapes. Except that I'm not artistic. I don't really know how to paint. I can pick up a brush and try to create something, but always it turns out to be a dud. Maybe it's just not meant to be.

Knock The Door

Taken from here.

Visit her website, it's really interesting. She collects pretty antique things. I like her pictures.

I'm beginning to like the song on Chantal Thomass's website, he came up to me and he said catch you later baby I gotta split, I've got a habit I just can't quit, oh oh it's biting my nails oh oh~

It's one of the hardest knocks you want to make, holding the metal hand seemed heavy and cold  followed with a heaving sigh. Imagine you knocking on a vampire's door. And that metal hand isn't really metal.
